I just wrote a review for Cinema Crazed. The "I'm A Real Ass Nigga" comic is in final stages of completion. Jordan Peters, my artist, just came in with some fantastic work, and I finally had a second to sit down and work on correcting my failures with the piece. We should have copies for the Emerald City Comic Con if all goes well. Either way, good news! Poetry coming.

Okay! Back to work! There's at the Superman Homepage, and a new Smallville review, 610. I'm also working on the new site, which you can preview here. Actually, Sion's doing most of the work, I'm designing, but it's on the way. Tomorrow I'm going to see him, and it's getting close. More soon, including a rearranging of the above gobbledygook tomorrow. The appraisal came in, and it looks like it'll be fine for what I'm trying to do. Good times.

Hoo-ah. I am, today, finishing this house. I will then, in three days, be able to devote myself fully to writing, forever and ever, amen, kaput, good day sir. Thusly updates will begin anew, and hopefully, the new sites will be up shortly. Sion and I are working hard on it as we get time. Good things coming, keep checking back.

Merry Christmas, etcetera. I haven't any updates, but you're probably so full of turkey you don't care. Here's the plan/deal. Sion and I will unveil the new design shortly, and I just found out that my house has to be finished by the tenth of next month, so I am focussing almost wholly on that. The sad part is that means updates will be sporadic and I am beaten senseless. The good side of this is that as soon as the house is done, I no longer have to fix houses to support my writing, so updates will be constant, uninterrupted, and in an awesome new format, as of January 10. So stay tuned. I'll likely still update a few times between now and then.

New video poem, Mrs. Ridgeway. I am going to clean up the main page shortly and update the daily poems. It's been a crazy few days, and will likely remain sporadic until the first of the year, when, for your patience, I will put up the new website design and blog, and life will get a lot easier and constant. Keep checking daily. Next Tuesday through Thursday I will be out of town, so likely no updates, but there should be updates on Christmas Eve and Day, I'm guessing. I have removed the downloadable Video Poem versions because they are readily available on Youtube and it will save server space. If anyone objects, let me know.

I am changing my policy of responding to all mail. I will no longer respond to hate mail. I've found over years of experience that most is written from hate and irrationality by an incresingly young or polemic group of people who just want someone to spear. I used to think that writing them back would perhaps appeal to a sense of logic, we could have a cogent debate, and then come to some kind of equitable compromise. I've finally decided that just isn't so. So henceforth, flames will simply be deleted and not responded to, except in the Smallville letter column, where I will make the sender look like an ass for fun.

Took a work day yesterday...but I wrote enough poetry to beat the hump, so I have two new pieces for you, Citizen Kane's Mission Statement and Interest Points. I will update the video poem later today, I have a really good one. I've also decided to split the content and the author page on this site, so that it will become more user friendly and hopefully attract more hits. The basics I'm working over with my friend Sion Heaney, but basically the plan is to take all of the content on the site currently, pare it down to the best samples of the work (though it'll still be quite voluminous) and put it all on a single page, a sample page. That'll combine poetry, scripts, comics, canvas, etcetera. There will be a basic author site, per gregrucka.com and stephenking.com, where you basically get biographical information and how to buy my books if you so wish. Then, there will be a blog, http://www.freedombeautytruthandlove.com, or http://www.FBTL.com, which will have daily content from me and an archive system. When the archives get voluminous, I'll take the pieces, pare them down, and put them on this site, which will make it a place to keep checking back. Also, the reviews will still be listed here. CTF will be folded into the new blog and become a category, using the Wordpress style. Criticisms? Ideas? Concepts? Email me. It will likely take place next week barring a strenuous objection, but I doubt there will be, because part of the point is that this site is, for some reason, not dragging in a lot of readers. So I'm gonna simple it up but keep the content coming.

As you can see, above is a listing of daily content I'm going to provide. A friend (Will) suggested that I put a list of what I'm doing on all fronts here on this front page, so that people will stop here to find out what I'm up to on all fronts. I think that's a damned good idea, and since this page was stagnating, that's just what I'm going to do.
I've also decided to very pointedly schedule what I'm up to, so expect a daily poem, and all the above on a weekly basis. As the day of the week arrives, I hope to turn the above into links for you to check out, starting this Monday. Enjoy!

I have updated Madly, making a second edition of the book. A few errors were addressed. I have also added the "Cheapskate special", which is an edition that's in a large format (8.5 X 11) and thus not to the preference of some, but, by contrast, is two dollars cheaper. Booya! GREAT NEWS! Conscious Publishing has decided to put out a book of my poems, with a possible second book to follow! Watch this site for more information as the next few weeks go on. For exclusive, early information, including advance orders and pricing before everyone else hears about it, sign up for the mailing list! I have removed the "commission" section for obvious reasons, and will likely be immersed in editing and selection for the next two months. This doesn't mean don't write me, it just means don't expect too many CTFs. I'm not stopping them, but I will only do them as time permits, as this book takes obvious precedence. Woo ha! Okay! The server was dead on Thursday, briefly, otherwise this would have happened sooner. I have begun the daily poem, and put up the first three, Fucking Dogs, Sepulchral Delusion, and The Darkness, of All Bands. They're also reflected on the new, updated, refined poetry page which I will henceforth refer you to for the daily poem. Phillip and Felix said they missed the CTFs, so I'm gonna start them up again. They're not going to be daily, alas, but I'm still going to do them. I'm going to try and do one either today, or in the next few days (I'm a little out of the news loop, and Christmas and my birthday approach with haste...again though, thanks for your patience as I sort things out.

Google shafted me out of my 26 bucks that I earned through getting people to click the ads because apparently, you're not supposed to TELL people to click the ads, just put them on your site and hope that people DO. Guess that's just counter-intuitive, and since I encouraged people to click them, they banned me and my site from their program. Grand. I'm now working on completing my new novel. I'm 91 pages in, and my goal is to be finished by the new year with the first draft. That means that I'll have very little time for CTF, but seeing as no one has seemed to miss it I'm not too worried. I'm going to instead make it my goal to put up a new poem every day on the site, and streamline the poetry section, losing a lot of the less epic poems in the next few days and getting a poem a day going. Thanks for your patience in this, and thanks for continuing to visit. I'm slowed up by the fact that I'm turning 26 and I have yet to have any substantial piece published in print that I have not put out myself. Unbelievably frustrating for a near decade of solid work.

Sorry for the lack of CTF. My decision has been to do one as often as I can and not sweat it if I miss a day. I am taking a few days off and doing a few things that need to get done, but, as you may know, there's one hell of a controversy style argument brewing here and here, and you might want to check that out. It's at very least something that befits the CTF dialogue and the endeavor to question what we know and love. In fact, I'll probably make it a CTF when I get a minute, along with Felix's post that I really enjoyed a little bit back that he gave me permission for. In other words, yeah, there's been a few days of lull. But expect things to pick up. When I'm taken down by life, etcetera, I always push back with more work.

My apologies on the few missed days of CTF. I am debating whether to continue daily. I am beginning to think it might be better to do one big massive one a week so that I can spend the other days working on a new novel. Each daily one has been taking three hours, and I really need those 15 hours a week back. I can see that site traffic has increased in the last few weeks, I'm not sure if it's Smallville or CTF, but if you would be so kind as to shoot me a line and let me know, I'd greatly appreciate it. Now is the best time for me to choose in the next few months, and since nobody reads my books, really, but a number read the CTF, I'm trying to decide. Regardless, either later tonight or tomorrow I will post an absolutely HUGE CTF to clean my article slate and get me to the point where I can render a decision either way.

Well, I noticed that I misspelled Meretricious on this site, and fixed that. I also see you, you prying eyes, you people visiting. More people in this, the shortest month, than any other month since the time we put Superman Unlimited on the Superman Homepage. It's awesome. There are more people hitting the site, more people bookmarking, and I think it's either Smallville folk, or people digging the Controversy...drop me a line and let me know either way. Regardless, I've been inspired by the higher numbers and by catching up on a number of projects, so you will here find a new Controversy. There's also a bunch of new poems, twenty to be exact, in the poetry section, and that's not counting the ones I can't print in public for varying reasons, you know who you are. ;) . George has promised me my camera back, the doity theef, tomorrow, so expect a few video poems to make up for the lost ones soon, and also a regularity on those as well. Any requests would be helpful, if you want any in particular. I was thinking about setting up a mailing list for updates to this site, but the last time I offered a mailing list, no one responded. I am thinking about the Controversy column, and the nature of the internet viewership...
I know why blogs are successful. They do what I do, with less commentary, and they also have daily stuff. My Controversy articles are slightly more to the point and somewhat thematic, but they're weekly or bi-weekly. The poetry is still bringing more people in. I was thinking about installing a message board and making Controversy a daily story that I find and comment on, and let people interact and react to.
So the question is, what's better to you? A smaller amount of daily content you can interact with, or a series of stories once a week or once every two weeks?
I'm also thinking about making Controversy a livejournal, but I'd prefer to refer links to nealbailey.com
Any advice would be helpful.

As promised, here's your update. I put up a new Controversy, and there's also other updates. I completely overhauled and added to the photo section. Now you can click on the thumbnails for a bigger picture, I figured that out. I updated the reviews. I also added two new posters in the comics section. I also took down New Patriot, because I am talking with a company, PV comics, about maybe getting something going with it. That rules. Also, go and visit Dark Idol and vote for my ass! If you do, you may be reading a novel announcement here. You can vote once a day, and the new contest begins on Monday. Furthermore, I archived the old news. And finally, there will be a new video poem and a bunch of new poetry in the next few days. I must merely do all the filework for the poetry and scam my camera back from George Howard, not to name names...and when I get it back, I'll do a few to make up for the ones I've been missing. Major update in the next few days. Big news, good news, and section revamps coming. I'm back and ready to roll. Looks like "Rebecca" hit off pretty well. I came home to find 170 emails. There are three screens like this one to go through, and that's BEFORE friends and family. Yoinks!

Oh, don't think I haven't noticed that the number of people visiting this site has doubled. All you new folk rule. Hits had been dropping for a while, I think the new design scared some people off, but I got about 800 uniques this month, and 1200 visits, and that's great by me! That's better than most literary mags. Thank you all. I know it's been mum on most fronts, but I do have a reason. I'm preparing for the Emerald City Comic Con, where I hear there will be DC folk. I've been working my scripts all to hell, and there's also new work from Allesandro on New Patriot. The first issue is half finished, by the by, but I'm not showing it to the public, so that potentially we can get a sale. BUT, the art to the new arc is just incredible, Al has really jumped up his game. Check out this sample, which is all I'll put up for now, but it's one of the most beautiful panels yet, from a scene in the hall of records, when Patriot starts to enact his program of social reformation:

New Controversy. I figured I'd take a week off for Thanksgiving. I'm still in a funk about Yoyo, so I've been a bit off. BUT, I came through tonight. There's the new Controversy, but in addition, I have added sixteen new poems, I've completely updated the review page, I've added a link in Links to Tom Nguyen (I bought one of his pieces, and he's a great friend and artist). I also made the THWN link work again. I have been informed that I should know about my novel before Christmas, meaning, whether it will be published or not, and I have been sending out a query a day since I got the cash from selling the house. Things are looking positive, and there's more to come. I also did another Video Poem, called More Proof That There is No God (For YoYo). It's kind of sad. For the poem, see here...

Controversy coming, but it'll be a few days late. This is the first week with a break from Smallville in a while, and my dog got run over and died, so I am being lazy. New Controversy. I had a good time with that one. There is also progress on poetry. I had a dry spell, but now I have three or four more, and soon I'll have enough for a substantive update. Until then, have a new Video Poem, number 19: Gunshots As I Title the Human Spirit. Lyrics HERE. Foithermore, an update on the novel. Work progresses. I don't know the page count, and that's a GREAT sign, because it means that I'm, not paying attention to word count but the story, which I'm digging. It's a coalescence of my Gwayne, Empereror Norton, and novel-in-a-novel ideas, with a touch of prequel to Homicidal Suicidal Psychological Steve. More on that as it develops. It feels like I've done 20-30 pages, in my head. Also updated Publications with the two poetry books (DUH! Left them in Poetry without thinking about it, assuming people would find them. Jeeze! You'd think I wasn't in this for the money or something!)

New Controversy. A lot of movement in the last week, a lot of soul searching. Usually I'm not so lax. Lax for me is only 20 pages every other day, but I've been lax. The house having sold is making me feel a lot better, so I started getting my novel on, and prematurely reported that what I was working on this last week was the new novel. I always do that. It's like when you're hunting for deer, you always think you see one, but you know when it's really there. Well, last night, I really started a novel. You always know, but you always want to jump. It's pretty good, too. I think I may be looking at my first epic. An epiphany at 3:48 in the AM last night drove me to the madness. Consequently, still little poetry (but that will iron out soon) and there is more motivation to send things out. Starting with the money returning, I plan on sending out a submission a day until I am wholly pleased with my level of success. I have decided to make the regular update day Saturday instead of Friday, because I need more than one day to recover from the Smallville review and do this site, and it gives me a nice pace. Thank you for your patience. I note with interest that a lot of you hit the poetry section more than anywhere else. Curious, because before the counters, I thought most of you would be hitting the comics or Controversy. Since no one hardly writes me in and tells me what to add or what they like, though, I'm lost. Help? :) Also, check reviews for a nice little update.

New Controversy. I have two miserable poems for you. Mostly because I've been in a royal funk because of the house not selling, but it just sold, so now I'm relieved, and working again. I've really slacked on poetry, so I'm going to bust out on it soon. There's a new Video Poem, number 18: Song of the Night At Work. I figure, if you have to write only two poems, that Song of the Night At Work isn't so bad. You'll see I made it the title of the site, because I've been thinking about it for over a month. So new poetry, new video poem, new Controversy, and soon, perhaps, an excerpt of this new novel I'm working on, I hope.

I put up this week's Controversy. It's a long and difficult one, but it's also biting. I haven't had much poetry of late, I've been experiencing a little block. The good news, however, is that I seem to have started writing the sequel to Madly. My heart isn't in it, but I need to be doing something, so it's going on. Hopefully I'll have more poetry next week, but I'm open to suggestions. Tell me what you like, and I'll focus on it. There are tons of updates to come, including Controversies past, I just figured I'd get this up and running as soon as possible so you wouldn't float off in boredom while I readied the site for the transition. More soon!

8-20-04 Not much to add, I've been unable to update with poetry due to the immediate change in plans. Basically, I found out my house is overvalued in a seller's market, so I'm getting rid of it, because I never wanted to be a landlord anyway, not really.
I will be making the major update mentioned, it's just going to happen this coming week, likely.

8-13-04 Thanks to all of you who are still here after the release of Superman Unlimited to the Superman Homepage. Glad to have you. I couldn't believe it, the page here shot up 500 hits in three days. That just goes to show you how admired and kickass the Superman Homepage is.
I've been swamped with family visits and a friend's marriage, but the bulk of my next update should be made next week, with assloads of poetry, a new video poem, and an update to the reviews, including links to the Superman Unlimited page, a few more articles, and other good stuff.
I secured an interview with Karl Kerschl, which rules, we just have to work out a time. He's the guy who did that fantastic work on Superman a while back and the guy pencilling Majestic right now, which I highly reccomend.
The main reason I'm writing is to let you all know about the update coming, and also to give you the next controversy, which is Controversy 4: I'm A Fucking Flip-Flopper. Deal With it. (8-13-04). It's bigger than the last few, and it's more shaky, but it was fun to write. Because it's an informal article, if you want my citations, just write me. I'll send them along.
8-6-04 I haven't got much poetry, but I should pop on in the next few days with some reviews, articles, and etcetera, including Superman Unlimited's publication on the Superman Homepage. For now, have Controversy 3...it's less serious this time, and more humorous. Check it out!

7-25-04 I have now, for your pleasure, a site called "My Pal Jerry". It's a subsection of Nealbailey.com to backup the works of my friend Jerry Newingham, who makes really hilarious shorts and Superman/Batman World's Finest serials. He's talented, and funny, I reccomend taking a good long look.

I have a new section of the site, exclusive article content only found here and nowhere else, it's a new article called "Controversy". This week, Controversy 1: Gay Marriage and Tooth Decay. These will be articles designed to inflame, piss off, etcetera, and they're going to be harsh, to the core, pretty rough and vulgar. I'm hoping they'll take off, people will like them.

7-24-04 Yo yo yo.
I have an update for you....today, we have the new Short Story section...it's got a bunch of my stuff from the last few years, some of the good stuff.
Also, in the next few days, look for massive new stuff. First, I may be bringing you some work from a good friend of mine, Jerry Newingham, also, some new poetry, some new reviews, a new video poem...I'm pacing myself, but it's coming.
Also, Al just came through with a BUTTLOAD of cool New Patriot sketches, he has the boards, and we're about to start work!

7-14-04 I figured, why not play a little catch-up while returning to life, eh?
I've updated comics with a piece I wrote about the death of Gina.
And hey, this is the biggest, coolest part of this update...I made little movies of all of my canvas, and the canvas section is finally up. PLEASE buy one, support the maniac writer!
In a few days, I'll update with a short story section, along with some poetry.
I would also like to express my condolences to Steve Younis, my editor, who lost his daughter. Please keep your thoughts with him, folks.
7-10-04 Well, twenty days down, I've returned to life.
My dog is dead...that kind of sucks. I have a new dog now. That's all right. People are like, "What, didn't you like your other dog, getting another dog so fast?" I look at it like this. How much do you have to love something in order to not be able to live without it for an entire week? I think if someone wanted to find new and interesting poetry a week after I was dead, I wouldn't feel dishonored. I'd feel my life had served its purpose.
And yet still, four and a half is too young to die. Here's to you, Gina. You were a hell of a mutt. Irreplaceable.
I also finished and sent off the novel. I think it has a chance. I hope.
I also did a lot of housework, you know, kind of lost myself in my hands.
Also, I wrote one hell of a lot of poetry. 22 poems, to be exact. Check a few of them out in the poetry section.
I've taken down all of the video poems except the new one. I have them if you want to see them, thus the words still being on the Video Poem Archive page, I just wanted to make some room, and since no one's beating down my door because of my lack of updates (Sorry, I needed time to get over the dog) I'm sure it'll be okay. You want one, let me know, I'll fire it back online.

6-18-04 Has it been thirteen days? Monkey Jesus. But I guess the good thing is, I've finished the editing, it's done, so now I can get back to the real business, poetry, comic books, short stories, perhaps another nove-

Let's see, I have a review for Action Comics 816, and the first issue of Identity Crisis. Good stuff, the both, with some flaws.
I also have some Poetry for you, and I have moved the last notebook into the background to make room for Meretricious Poetaster, which is working out well, so far. Less prolific, but both of the poems are home runs, at least, until the light of time makes me think it crap.
My dog is dying. That's why I didn't update last week. Kidney disease, I've learned. Console me, please. No one seems to give a shit except me.
In other news, I send out the novel in 7 days. Time to curse me with hoodoo if you hate my guts, or cross your fingers if you want to list me as a reference some day. Hoo hah.

6-5-04 The days are blurring, night is day, I'm royally fucked up, folks. I've been editing about 35-40 pages a day, which may not sound like much, but that's a lot. I'm beat. I figure I'll get through my drafts in time for the end of June, but I will definitely be taking a week off at the end of all of this. Benjamin, so far, has been my hardest novel to write, not because of the lack of fun with what I'm doing, but because I have so strictly regimented myself.
Consequently, I have little for you right now.
There's one new Review, for Adventures of Superman 628.
Believe it or not, I finished Everybody to the Limit!, my poetry notebook. After I finish my novel and send it off, my direct first plans are to start compiling my fourth poetry book. I'm gonna call it "Meretricious Poetaster" or a second title I have to come up with yet. A meretricious poetaster is basically a vulgar, petty writing whore poet. I like it.
Check poetry for the few poems I've come up with lately. Everybody to the Limit will soon be archived. The new poetry notebook is also Meretricious Poetaster, or Every Day A Little Apocalypse.
And hey, look! I made me a video poem! I kick ass! It's one of my faves, a little cynical ditty about Abraham Lincoln. Figured it'd be funny since the gipper just got gipped.
5-22-04 Okay, so I didn't update. Why? The end of Smallville and the novel editing. BUT, I swear, henceforth I should be able to do a weekly update, and for your patience I have some cool stuff.
First, too damned many reviews to count. Smallville 320, 321, 322, Superman 204, Superman: Birthright 10, and Smallville the Comic 8. There's also an interview with Greg Rucka and Matthew Clark, 521 Square Feet, No Furniture.
Also, assloads of poetry (but unlike typical ass loads, not filled with shit, I hope).
I didn't do a video poem, but I did do a video...I made a short film called "Be A Plumber." If you like it, I have it in a larger format. Let me know. Next week, the return of the video poem.

5-3-04 Welcome to an update. That's right, I'm actually updating.
You will find, for your pleasure (or discerning consternation) reviews for Smallville 317, 318, and 319, along with reviews for It's A Bird and Superman: The Man of Steel 95 (an old comic with a new review.
Also, per promise, I have added my poetry for the last little while, and it's a nice little chunk of verse.
For an update with regards to Benjamin, I am to chapter 13.5 in the editing, and I have a good chunk to go, but I am more than halfway finished, and I plan on handing out the novel to the folks who offered to read the piece when I finish the second draft, so I can get suggestions before I mail out in late June. A sample chapter will soon be put up for those of you who are not interested in the whole book. Yet. Mwu ha ha!
I have updated the commission page, but you don't really have to go there, just read this. Now included in the commission page is a drawing, humorous. I will draw you something that I think (and I hope you will find) funny on a sheet of paper and sign it for five bucks, plus postage. Please, please commission me. I will post samples of what you might recieve here, soon, or you can look at my tee shirts at the store.
No video poem yet, I am putting that off until the editing is finished, because that's two hours a week I really need right now.
4-24-04 For starters, here is a command, a staunch one. Write a letter to your congressman or woman right now and protest the reintroduction of a draft. It's indentured servitude, forced war, and besides, a voluntary force is safer for the United States on all fronts.
Now on with my crap. It's been a while, I'm the first to admit, but here it is. I have finished the book, and I'm 60 pages into the editing. The editing goes slower than I'd like, but it's a good book, I don't want to mess it up. My personal goal is June, but I have no problem finishing June 30th, or later, if need be.
I've lost a lot of weight. I weigh as much as I did at 17 for the first time in 7 years. I weigh 180 pounds. Atkins works. I'm bloody amazed. Nothing popular works. I've lost 35 fucking pounds.
There are some new reviews and articles. I lucked into an Ed McGuiness interview (that's a big deal, in case you're comic ignorant) and I also got to go and interview Greg Rucka and Matthew Clark in Oregan, two really great guys who gave me an amazing forthcoming interview. Rucka made a mark on me for his writing skill, and Matthew for his work and dedication to it. Greg wrote me after reading the interview and gave me perhaps the best compliment I've ever recieved, telling me he liked my style. Coming from the mastermind of Officer Down, No Man's Land, Queen and Country, and Atticus Kodiak, that means a hell of a lot to me. Things are just...bloody amazing.
Living the dream.

I've been doing all right with poetry, but I haven't had time to type up yet. I will soon. I'm also postponing video poems until the editing's done or I catch the whim, unless someone requests, and then I'll do one. Hah!
In house news, I ripped out a fence, stripped the paint on a room, built a shelf, and the financial woes are now almost over to the tune of 500 flex bucks every two weeks.

4-9-04 I am postponing an update for a week, but here's an update for you all the same.
After finishing that announcement about Dinoship, I set sail and imposed on myself a rigid law of 4,000 words a day or bust, and not crap words, good words. Since then, 6 days ago, I have produced 22,000 words. I am fried, but I am on a pace to finish within the week, and commence editing.
Therefore, despite the fact that I have poetry, I will do no quantitative update until next week, when I am finished. I will then put up all the poetry I've been writing, and there is a good bit, a new video poem, and a call to any and all who want to review my book before I send it off.
In fact, screw that. I send out the call now. Anyone who wants to read my novel before I send it out, write me and let me know. But you have to be super cruel, that's the only rule.

4-2-04 Damn! I forgot! I updated Benjamin's Dream. It's almost to 150. That'll happen tonight. I have a nice little string of chapters in my head. Remember, though, it's still rough. I do this so the process can be seen, if anyone's interested.
4-1-04 I did the tour of the house, and it sucks. It just sucks. I mean, I can't do it right with this camera. I'm tabling the idea unless someone smacks me.
I just had a great week. I did an interview with Ed McGuiness, the penciller for Superman/Batman, over the phone, and it's up at the Superman Homepage.
I had a very educational and humbling experience with Greg Rucka and Matthew Clark, the new Adventures team, in Portland, and I almost got killed on the way down. There's a while story, and the article is forthcoming. Expect the abbreviated version on my livejournal soon.
There's some poetry, but it's not ready yet, and there's no new reviews. It's been a very procedural week. I just spoke on the phone with Frank Hart, the penciller for my new project Justify, and he's trying to free up some time in between his move to work with Disney to put a few things forward. All is well.
I have a new Video Poem for you, for real this time. Sorry about last week. It's called Submission For the Atlantic Monthly. I am not responsible for the five English accents I used in this piece. But I am the protagonist...It's supposed to mean something. Maybe it did.

3-14-04 Yeah, dude. I rock.
In the column of the more cool things I've ever done, I gave myself a mohawk today. With help. Turns out the Leukemia drive wanted people to dramatically alter their hair. Here I end up thinking I'll look like a jackass, instead I am very pleased with the results. Go MOHAWK. I've been wanting to do that since I was 14, and now that I don't have a job, I can, so I did. Fucking A. There's about a pound of Elmer's in my hair right now.

In writing news:
I have written some things. Wrote. I have for you updated Benjamin's dream, complete with missing graphics, I do believe. I wrote the end of the world, and that's a good thing. The novel is at page 132. I anticipate things going much faster, with a finish between 250 and 300 pages, about 110,000 words.
In the poetry section, I have added about six new poems. Realizing that I likely have about 300 poems on the site, expect me to pare down soon, and take a few notebooks off. So read now, if you're gonna, or write me and ask me not to take them down. Yeah, right. And monkeys might fly INTO my butt.

3-5-04 All right! I'm back. Turns out Smallville's on a five week Hiatus until April 14th, so I get to plow into some of my nice independent projects now. To update:
Went to the Emerald City Comic Con and got tentative commitments for interviews from Mr. Rucka and Mr. Clark of the new Adventures of Superman, which rules. I also made some submissions, we'll see where that goes.
I have a few nice new reviews for y'all (and sorry for missing a week of updates. I just had no bandwidth left, I had a few things to do, it happens. I will pay back in writing, post haste.
